The Secret Garden

There was no secret about the gardening on Saturday, it was 'all hands to the pump' so as to get Spring 15 kicked off to a good start. A good team of worker bees got stuck in and things soon began to buzzz.

So, there we have it, this happy bunch of gardeners doing a couple of hours honest labour,  hewers of wood, carriers of water, tillers of the earth.  Fancy joining them ?  First Saturday of each month gets you in.  Come just as you like, dressed as a tramp or straight out of Burton's window.  They don't mind one bit..

Easter Egg hunting

The weather was perfect for what we were about to receive. Easter eggs in profusion with lots of peeps to enjoy poking among the shrubbery hoping to find an egg or a clue. Personally I did not have a clue so it was mostly lost on me although the effort put into the games was evident by the sheer pleasure both children and parents alike derived from the games. Well done Jayne !!

A New Season to get started with the club

Not everyone has warships nonchalantly sliding past  their secret garden..  This is HMS Ocean in Plymouth Sound, just one of the fantastic sights to be seen from the grounds of our tennis club.  Bet you wish you were a member now?  Well you can be, simply contact ML at stennisclub14@gmail.com and she will sort out the finer details with you.
