Stonehouse Lawn Tennis Club NEEDS your HELP!!
The Summer Fete is fast
approaching - Saturday 11th July 12-4pm - and we need lots of help to make it a success.
Help could be as a volunteer on
the day:
- setting up tables, gazebos and bunting
- Or alternatively, helping take it all down
at the end of the day!!!
- Helping to run a stall
- Or helping with making teas and
coffees in the hut
We will need various help
between 9.30am and 4.45pm -are you free for an hour or two?
Or in the weeks leading up
to event:
·
gathering
up your unwanted items for the book stall, the tombola or the Bric-a-Brac
stall
·
Donating a raffle prize
·
Or to bake a cake for the cake
stall - delivery on the day please!
But most of
all, come along on the day:
·
Bring your family and friends
·
Enjoy tasty pasties, pizza and a Devon (or Cornish)
cream tea
·
Or have fresh strawberries and cream watching the
children play tennis.
·
Buy some raffle tickets and win one
of the fab prizes
·
Browse the stalls and try your luck at the games or
ride the Segway
·
Meet new people and make new friends
-
And have a great day.
If you
would like to volunteer in any capacity please contact Jayne Ashenbury at
or
Your help will be gratefully appreciated.
All donations for stalls can be
dropped off at the tennis club on Tuesday 7th July after 6pm or brought to the club on the day (especially cakes!!) We can
collect things from your home that week if needed. Please get involved
and come and have a great day out. Everyone welcome and lots of jobs to do
